About M.Sc. in Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing

OBG Nursing addresses to women who are pregnant, attempting to become pregnant or have just delivered. Parul University offers a 2 year post graduate program in OBG Nursing which prepares future professionals for conducting prenatal care and testing, taking care of patients experiencing pregnancy complications as well as offering care during labour, delivery and post it. The Faculty of Nursing focuses on shaping the practical abilities of the students through a comprehensive curriculum which focuses on both, theoretical aspects and the technical fundamentals of medicine via a unique pedagogy covering subject areas like family welfare services, normal labour and nursing management, human reproduction, pharmoco dynamics in obstetrics, role of nurse-midwifery practitioner, etc. This post graduate program focuses more on the practical engagement of the students in the various fields of nursing which are essential for their knowledge and understanding of the ins and outs related to the field. Not only does the course centre on technical skills, one of the most significant areas of focus is the development of interpersonal skills which are required for ensuring a harmonious understanding between the nurses and the patients.
